We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our blood and plasma products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory procedures related to unit and/or donor suitability testing and other assays.
- Conduct routine analytical testing using manual and automated methods and procedures.
- Analyze test results against set controls and participate in continuing education.
- Complete maintenance and Quality Control (QC) per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate analytical instrumentation and technical laboratory equipment.
- Work within current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab.
- Follow safety regulations, Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Associate degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science, or medical laboratory science from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) designation as required by the State of Tennessee preferred.
- 2+ years' relevant lab experience preferred or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- Above average computer skills required.
