Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leadership Development Program Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Solutions division, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various logistics operations, including warehousing, logistics optimization centers, dedicated transportation, and engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate three different day-to-day Supply Chain operations, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the site leadership team, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Participate in project-based activities, such as continuous improvement kaizen events and shadowing the Analytics team.
  • Responsible for communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by tracking, adjusting, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel as required to assist locations and present to various stakeholders, including customers and management, regarding process changes and feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of involvement in extra-curricular activities demonstrating leadership skills.
  • 0-1 year of previous internship experience preferred.
