Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Services Professional to join our team at Quadrant Inc. as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our clients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of individualized recovery plans under the direction of a clinical supervisor.
  • Implement recovery plans in coordination with the team and under the supervision of the team supervisor.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with assigned clients to enhance their functioning and well-being.
  • Intervene to assist clients in acquiring skills and resources necessary for successful community living.
  • Provide support and consultation to members of clients' networks.
  • Assist clients in symptom management, problem-solving, and resource development.
  • Participate in crisis prevention and intervention on behalf of team clients as needed.
  • Ensure that each client has an individualized relapse prevention plan shared with all appropriate providers and network members.
  • Participate in leadership of psycho-educational and skill development groups as appropriate.
  • Participate in ACT Team daily morning meetings.
  • Develop strategies with clients to maintain living outside of institutional settings.
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and treatment plans under the supervision of the team supervisor.
  • Assume responsibility for special projects on the team and within the ACT program.
  • Complete all required paperwork on time.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a relevant human services discipline.
  • Active LGSW or LGPC license issued in the District of Columbia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health principles and ability to operationalize and implement these principles in mental health practice.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Case management experience.
  • Experience documenting case notes.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, even when dealing with emotional topics.
