About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of North American Manufacturing Operations to lead our North American manufacturing strategy across our US sites. This position is a key member of the Global Operations Leadership team and will report directly to the SVP of Global Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct both instrument and reagent manufacturing while providing leadership and vision related to materials, new product introduction, engineering, facilities, and overseeing one of our ranch operations.
  • Responsible for the strategic leadership for the Chemistry, Immunoassay, Urinalysis, and Hematology business units across 7 unique manufacturing sites.
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership and direction to the NA Manufacturing Leadership team across hardware and consumable manufacturing.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity while providing clear direction and vision to inspire and empower staff to achieve excellence.
  • Responsible for driving KPIs and global performance in terms of safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, and operational P&L while collaborating globally and cross-functionally to accomplish business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience, or Master's/Doctoral degree with 10+ years of experience - includes 6+ years managing people. Experience must include Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and operating in an FDA/ISO regulated industry.
  • Degree in life sciences, engineering, sciences, or related field.
  • Proven leader in multi-discipline, multi-site operations (may require global experience), and ability to lead an organization through ground-breaking change.
  • Prior experience in a DBS, Lean, or Six Sigma Culture. Detailed understanding of Lean manufacturing tools and concepts along with a proven track record for lean implementations and documented resulting success.
