About the Role

As a Manager Manufacturing Engineering at Danaher Corporation, you will be responsible for supporting, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement in the manufacturing process from assembly to final packaging of multiple instrument value streams. This role is part of the Hardware Operations located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage direct reports work requirements and performance of the Manufacturing Engineering team. Provide timely feedback and guide them on performance/career and professional development
- Responsible for department financial performance and improvement to Hardware Operations KPI results
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges for current and new product introductions and design change implementation, collaborating with multiple stakeholders throughout
- Communicate, coordinates, and supports other functions to achieve company objectives
- Foster innovation by using DBS tools at Gemba to drive improvement in safety, quality, delivery, financial, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with 9+ years' experience OR Master's degree with 7+ years' experience
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor both individual associates and teams
- Displays a positive attitude in the face of difficult or challenging situations. Provides an uplifting (yet realistic) outlook on what the future holds and the opportunities it might present.
