The Pilates Instructor is a key member of the Personal Training department at Life Time, responsible for delivering high-quality Pilates training services to our members. Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development
    • Design and implement safe and effective Pilates training programs for members, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and motivation.
  • Instruction and Coaching
    • Deliver Pilates training sessions to members, providing guidance on proper technique and equipment use.
    • Conduct fitness consultations with new members, including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
  • Member Engagement
    • Promote and sell Pilates training programs and classes to members.
    • Engage with members through complimentary Pilates sessions, workshops, and fee-based services.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Complete administrative requirements associated with each client's fitness plan.
  • Studio Maintenance
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Pilates studio.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
    • Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of Pilates teaching experience
  • Experience in Pilates program design
  • Certified Pilates Trainer
  • Trained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Requirements

  • Hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair)

Compensation

This position receives a base hourly rate of $16.00. This position is also eligible to receive incentive pay based on personal production.
