We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Support Anesthesia Associate to join our team at Penn Gastrointestinal Surgery Radnor. This is a full-time position working 4 10-hour day shifts, with no weekends, call, or holidays required.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide ancillary support to the anesthesia and ambulatory surgery facility (ASF) team, ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage equipment and inventory in the operating room and ASF
  • Maintain daily supply inventory and restock accordingly
  • Set up and break down equipment needed for ORs and anesthesia areas
  • Provide environmental services and room turnover as needed
  • Check and replace sodalime in CO2 absorbers and breathing circuit
  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize equipment and reusable items
  • Transport trash and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of previous hospital experience
