Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our surgical team, responsible for:

  • Assisting in the operating room as a scrub technician
  • Maintaining proper sterile and aseptic techniques while setting up and utilizing medical equipment
  • Preparing surgical rooms for various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available
  • Demonstrating technical proficiency in the handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ensuring sanitary maintenance of all equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Utilizing autoclave processes and adhering to cleaning protocols
  • Providing ultrasound assistance under the supervision of physicians during patient transfers
  • Offering comfort and support to patients by addressing their concerns and anxieties

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Completion of formal Medical Assistant education and certification
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgical environment
  • Experience in women's health, particularly in OB/GYN settings, is essential
  • Proficiency in accessing, inputting, and retrieving information using computer systems
  • Experience in infertility or IVF practices is preferred
  • Phlebotomy skills are advantageous
  • Strong professionalism and customer service abilities are required
