Deer Oaks Mental Health Assoc, a national leader in geriatric behavioral health, invites you to join our integrated treatment team as a Post-Doctoral Psychologist Resident. We are seeking passionate and dedicated post-doctoral psychology residents to contribute to making a real difference in geriatric behavioral health.

About the Role

As a Post-Doctoral Psychologist Resident, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering clinically effective psychological and psychiatric services to improve the overall health, well-being, and clinical outcomes of residents. Your responsibilities will include diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family psychotherapy, psychological testing, and more.

Training Locations and Benefits

We have training locations available in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio, TX. Our benefits include a competitive stipend for CEU's, 7 paid holidays, weekly one-on-one supervision, monthly didactics, support for EPPP, flexible start dates for full-time W2 positions, post-program placement and license reimbursement for fully licensed psychologists.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program, completed an APA-accredited internship program, eligibility for provisional licensure as a psychologist in Texas, a successful background check, and strong communication skills.
