Pediatric Psychologist Tele-mental Health Position

The Dell Medical School Department of Psychiatry is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to provide clinical services through tele-mental health as part of the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program at UT Health Austin, Dell Medical School.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented Pediatric Psychologist to join our team and provide clinical services to youth experiencing mental health challenges within a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing clinical services via tele-mental health and be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultative and direct clinical services, including diagnostic assessments, brief interventions, urgent assessments, and long-term treatment planning.
- Collaborate with pediatric psychiatrists, psychiatric residents, medical students, other psychologists, licensed professional counselors, and internal administrative staff.
- Interact with external stakeholders, including primary care physicians and staff, and external public-school personnel to engage in collaborative care.
- Participate in training, supervision, and didactics for psychology interns and fellows, as well as participate in clinical research and program development efforts.
- Completed a doctoral degree from an accredited school of Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
- APA-accredited internship/residency focused on training in child clinical or pediatric psychology.
- Successful completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in child clinical or pediatric psychology.
- Attainment of Texas licensure for the practice of psychology by start date.
- Board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology.
- Professional experience as a licensed psychologist in providing clinical services via tele-mental health.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Prior experience working in public school systems and community outreach.
- Clinical teaching skills and potential to contribute to our faculty's active program of research.
