Reporting directly to the Food Hall Supervisor, the Food Hall Attendant is responsible for delivering the "JACK" experience to our patrons through efficient service, high-quality beverages and products, while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to store operational guidelines and standards, which include providing quality food and beverage offerings, managing cash transactions, and ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
  • Process guest payments, operate the cash register, and accurately settle checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain accountability for assigned cash drawers, documenting all received funds and transactions throughout shifts.
  • Record all gratuities received from credit card transactions.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance through clear and friendly communication.
  • Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize orders as per customer requests, including adjustments to ingredients and portion sizes.
  • Manage food stock by rotating dated items and receiving incoming food orders.
  • Ensure cleanliness in food preparation areas by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing workstations and utensils before and after use.
  • Break down workstations, clean, and restock supplies as necessary.
  • Open food service outlets promptly as directed, including the preparation and serving of various food items.
  • Be adaptable to perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
  • Conduct "station" and "side work" checks as per policy and assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcoholic beverages and intervene when necessary, following established guidelines.
  • Interact with guests and team members in a courteous, positive, and professional manner while taking orders, processing payments, and delivering orders.
  • Properly dispose of refuse and debris accumulated in service areas and dining spaces in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment such as ovens, toasters, steamers, blenders, and other food preparation tools.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Capability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in conflict situations.
  • Ability to navigate throughout the property, including using stairs or escalators.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary food and beverage equipment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with cash handling is preferred but not mandatory.
Required Certification/License:
  • OLC, Non-Gaming License.
