Reporting directly to the Food Hall Leader, the Food Hall Attendant is responsible for delivering the "JACK" experience to our patrons through efficient service, high-quality beverages and products, while ensuring a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to store operational policies and standards, ensuring the provision of quality beverages and food items, effective cash handling, and maintaining safety and security protocols.
  • Process guest payments, operate the cash register, and accurately settle checks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Manage assigned cash drawers, accounting for all cash received and transactions recorded during shifts.
  • Document all tips received from credit card transactions.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and respond through clear and friendly communication.
  • Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize orders as per customer requests.
  • Maintain and rotate food stock, ensuring proper handling of incoming food deliveries.
  • Ensure cleanliness in food preparation areas by thoroughly cleaning workstations and utensils before and after use.
  • Disassemble workstations, clean, and restock supplies as necessary.
  • Open food service outlets promptly, including the preparation and serving of various food items.
  • Be adaptable to perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
  • Conduct "station" and "side work" checks as per policy and assist with administrative tasks as required.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary, following guidelines.
  • Interact with guests and colleagues in a positive, professional manner while taking orders and processing payments.
  • Properly dispose of refuse and debris accumulated in service areas and dining spaces.
  • Utilize food preparation equipment such as ovens, toasters, steamers, and blenders.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Capable of responding calmly and making rational decisions in conflict situations.
  • Ability to navigate all areas of the property, including stairs and escalators.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Manual dexterity to operate necessary food and beverage equipment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience with cash handling is advantageous but not essential.
Certification Requirements:
  • OLC, Non-Gaming License is required.
