Job Summary

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Neurology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead the growth of our Multiple Sclerosis Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and a passion for academic medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Multiple Sclerosis Program, including strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients with multiple sclerosis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and other stakeholders to advance the field of multiple sclerosis research and treatment.
  • Recruit and manage a team of healthcare professionals to support the growth and success of the program.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in multiple sclerosis treatment and incorporate this knowledge into the program.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree with board certification in neurology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in academic medicine, with a focus on multiple sclerosis.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and strategic planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
