Job Summary:

The Customer Engagement Representative is responsible for controlling access to the facility while providing a high level of quality customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering questions from the general public and referring these questions to the appropriate department
  • Performing various clerical tasks as pertains to the service desk area
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Performing other duties as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one year of experience preferred
  • Able to read, write legibly, and speak in English with professional quality
  • Use of computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
  • Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Collaborate and accept direction
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
  • Think critically and manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Organize and prioritize workload
  • Work well under pressure and problem solve
  • Recall information with accuracy and pay close attention to detail
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to distinguish colors as necessary
  • Hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone
  • Identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace
  • See adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPR/First Aid and AED license preferred
