Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team at Loma Linda Unv Shared Services. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions across our enterprise application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop integration solutions using structured analysis methods and coordinate data analysis and design training sessions as needed.
  • Participate in workflow-related issues and design, build, and test interfaces between disparate systems.
  • Support production solutions and facilitate defining and documenting requirements.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including data analysis and design training sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or an additional seven years of related experience in healthcare or information technology in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum one year of experience required, preferably in a healthcare-related field.
  • Ability to complete Loma Linda University (LLUH) Proficiency within the designated application(s) and/or module(s) within the initial 90-day probationary period.
  • Strong technical and communications skills, with the ability to deliver technical solutions to business problems and interact successfully with IT department, Business Analysts, business SMEs, and leaders.
  • Technical knowledge in all areas of system development life cycle, database management, and experience with development tools such as PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode API, Integration Broker, Web Development tools including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XSL, WebLogic, Apache, Tuxedo, other integration engines, internet protocols, and mobile web deployment.
  • Experience with Interface Engine development in tools such as Cloverleaf, Sybase e*Biz Impact, OpenLink, OpenEngine, WebSphere, Microsoft EventHUB/Biztalk, or others.
  • Experience integrating business processes, HL7 standards, and XML data format, CCD, and other healthcare-required data interchange.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Visual Basic.
  • Knowledge of multiple software products, languages, and databases, with experience in applications such as Sun Products (E-gate, ICAN, JCAPS), Cloverleaf, Quovodax, Neon, etc.
  • Familiarity with various enterprise integration patterns and exposure to cleaning and standardizing multiple sources of data.
  • Knowledge of clinical or business/revenue cycle workflow in healthcare.
