As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical assistance to end users, focusing on laptop repairs and circuit management. This part-time position allows for a flexible schedule, accommodating 16 hours of work each month, making it an ideal opportunity for supplemental income.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including parts replacement and installation.
  • Assist clients with device security installations, including McAfee and Crowdstrike, while maintaining a basic understanding of PC functionality.
  • Manage the automation of security updates and manually install software when necessary.
  • Configure laptops and provide networking and wireless support.
  • Offer assistance with mobile device setup using MaaS360 and HCL Verse, along with basic knowledge of network printers.
  • Troubleshoot complex technology challenges and provide remote support to clients.
  • Document customer issues and their resolutions accurately.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of PCs, servers, hardware, software, and networking technologies.
  • Support additional locations remotely as required.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware repair or break/fix work.
  • A+ certification is preferred.
