Job Title: SoC Performance Analysis Engineer

Job Summary:
ARM is seeking a highly skilled System-on-Chip (SoC) Performance Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Performance Analysis team, you will be responsible for driving and resolving architectural investigations and performance tradeoff studies across various SoC components.

Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently drive and resolve architectural investigations and performance tradeoff studies across various SoC components.
  • Perform workload characterization to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and drive consensus across architects and IP teams.

Requirements:
  • Experience in SoC Performance Modeling and performance analysis in the semiconductor industry.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with expertise in computer architecture and microarchitecture.
  • Understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including knowledge of processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
  • Proficient in C/C++ for programming for large-scale software development, familiarity with SystemC TLM, and Python scripting language skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey complicated solutions effectively.
