  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to gather product and technical requirements.
  • Present product development prototype results to customers using MS PowerPoint and facilitate the transition into recurring production orders.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of manufacturing operations, including CNC milling, turning, brazing, bonding, TIG welding, and Laser Welding.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain schedules and Gantt charts for assigned projects, communicating and working with customers to alter contract dates as needed.
  • Populate and manage customer-business action item tasks, including taking meeting minutes.
  • Assist in continuously updating and improving our ERP system and integrating it into our processes.
  • Support manufacturing managers and technicians in optimizing materials, processes, and supply chain(s).
  • Aid with procurement of processes and bill of material for the manufacturing of hardware.
  • Lead customer-business communications in triage efforts, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and customer support.
  • Support laboratory managers and technicians in ensuring quality assurance and compliance with DV&T requirements.
  • Create and facilitate paperwork as required to satisfy quality and AS9100 requirements.
  • Represent the company at prospective customer events, such as web-conferences, technical workshops, and tradeshows.
  • Track spending in relation to budget and assist accounting in invoicing deliverables, addressing scope creep when applicable.
  • Support laboratory and production in continuous improvements to processes and facilities/equipment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of work experience as a program or project manager.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of PDM and ERP software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
