Full Time Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Recovery Services of New Mexico, LLC. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome opioid addiction and achieve long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to patients struggling with substance abuse
• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, and mental health needs
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans to support patients' continued recovery

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor (LSAA, LADAC, LMHC, LMSW, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT)
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
