Job Title: Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at YWCA Clark County. As a Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Violence Therapist, you will provide trauma-informed therapy services to survivors of abuse, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions and cultural humility
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless care coordination and referrals
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to HIPAA and OCVA guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and licensure requirements
Requirements:
  • Licensed clinical counselor or social worker, or Master's level education in social work, counseling, or mental health field working towards clinical licensure
  • At least 3 years' experience working with survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and evidence-based interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
