Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Analyst to join our team at Alterra Mountain Company. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the daily operations of Alterra's Pass Platform, including reviewing and researching incoming support tickets, communicating with stakeholders, and documenting issues.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve escalated issues, articulate problems, and support testing and confirmation of resolution.
- Prioritize and escalate issues to ensure timely problem resolution, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Perform platform administration activities, including configuration and testing, and maintain system and support documentation.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of ski industry processes and procedures, as well as Alterra's point-of-sale, eCommerce, and access control systems.
- 3+ years of experience supporting critical enterprise systems, with a strong background in technology, support desk, quality assurance, or similar fields.
- Proven ability to query databases using T-SQL, and experience with reading and updating JSON.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of project scope, schedule, change, and quality management, as well as ski industry resort operations.
