Accounting and Financial Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team at Cascade Ventures. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for the ongoing bookkeeping and management of tasks in our main accounting department, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assistance with tax calculations according to HGB and IFRS
  • Determination of monthly sales and payroll tax returns
  • Active involvement in annual tax returns (sales, corporation, trade, and energy taxes)
  • Support for VAT processes and contact person for tax and accounting issues
  • Accompaniment and support during economic and company audits and active participation in projects in the accounting department

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed commercial training with a background in accounting, training as a tax clerk or certified accountant (m/f/d); alternatively, completed studies with a corresponding focus
  • First practical work experience in the main accounting department or at auditing or tax consulting firms
  • Good application knowledge in ERP systems, preferably in SAP FI
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Structured and careful way of working
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
