Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Mindful Health Solutions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, administering treatment plans, and delivering cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms, and functioning.
- Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
- Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, while monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
- Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services.
- Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
- Minimum one year of post-education experience in outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Valid and current, unrestricted, California NP and Furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s).
- Valid degree, Master's degree (or higher), from an accredited institution.
- Valid California DEA registration.
- ANCC PMHNP Board Certification.
- Autonomous practice ability.
- Child, adolescent, or adult experience.
- Proficiency with EHR.
- Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology.
- Compassionate and motivated Team Player.
