Job Summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Family Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to children, youth, and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of youth in our services
  • Evaluate medication needs, prescribe, and supervise ongoing medication needs for assigned clients
  • Participate in regular intervention reviews and treatment planning for all consumers
  • Provide regular psychiatric consultation and direction to clinical staff
  • Collaborate with community partners for higher levels of care or specialized treatment services
  • Consult with leadership on service needs and complete required paperwork and record keeping

Requirements:

  • Legally licensed to practice medicine in Washington State
  • PMHNP certification
  • Two years' experience working with children and families in a clinical setting
  • Bi-lingual fluency skills in Spanish and English (highly desired)
  • Commitment to strengths-based, family-centered, and individually-tailored clinical approaches
  • Ability to understand and work with child-serving systems
  • Commitment to collaboratively teaming with staff from multi-disciplinary backgrounds

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to work with an innovative therapeutic team serving youth and families in their home and community
  • Part-time (1-2 days per week) at our South King County site (Tukwila and/or Burien) with option to pick up 1-2 days per month in Aberdeen

  • Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and English, tiered pay depending on consistency of services delivered to Spanish-speaking families served
