About the Role:

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for our Seattle office. We offer in-clinic or hybrid options.

Our well-established psychiatric private group practice, founded in 2007, is led by nationally recognized psychiatrists in the field of brain health. At MHS, our clinicians provide high-quality care within a collaborative and collegial learning environment.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide compassionate care through medication management and brief psychotherapy, working alongside a diverse staff of high-caliber psychiatrists and TMS technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status, current psychiatric symptoms, and functioning, as well as psychiatric and other relevant health histories.
  • Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • General outpatient psychiatry services.

Typical Cases:

Anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, and PTSD. 60 minutes for new patient consults, 30 minutes for follow-ups.

Furnish psychotropic medications and short-term therapies to treat mental health conditions in accordance with standardized procedures.

Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures.

Monitor and continuously improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree (or higher) from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
  • WA state license.
  • At least one year of experience working in an ambulatory mental health clinic or private psychiatric practice.
  • Experience charting with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
