About the Role

Senspex, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our Business Development Department in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve product line penetration with long and short-term profitability.
  • Assume the communication lead in discussions with customers and develop relationships with key supplier contacts.
  • Participate in events and trade shows to enhance market presence and conduct presentations and demonstrations of products and services to potential customers.
  • Solicit orders from current and prospective customers, both in-person and through cold calling.
  • Follow up on and process sales leads based on information gathered from trade shows, marketing campaigns, telephone inquiries, and other prospects.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years sales experience in a technical field with demonstrated sales growth.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree with significant coursework in a technical field such as engineering, science, or physics.
  • Strong sales skills that promote product and services the company offers and the ability to showcase technical products, both software and hardware.
  • Must be knowledgeable about technology, and in particular, the ability to obtain expert level knowledge on Senspex products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military and Government sales experience.
  • Military program or procurement experience.
  • Experience with video and vision systems technologies.
