Sales and Inventory Specialist

R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our SupplySight Inventory Management team, you will be responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by ensuring optimal inventory levels and availability.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for building relationships with key customer personnel, contributing to negotiations and discussions to promote ongoing improvement to the program, and acting as a first line of contact to answer customer questions and provide product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of major product groupings and products to effectively service, stock, and present product solutions to customers.
- Identify new potential opportunities through qualifying and prospecting within the account.
- Active in customer business reviews and CRM to provide value-added analysis of the customer business to support future growth and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with the inside operations team and assigned outside sales representative to service the customer most effectively.
- Operate a company vehicle to replenish onsite IM programs and maintain accurate inventory levels with customers.
- Servicing and maintaining of equipment onsite at major client SupplySight Program Accounts.
- Utilize resources and apply learning to teach and tailor product solutions to client environments.
- Maintain organized inventory in accordance with RSH policies to ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and packaging.
- Analyze and investigate inventory variances, implementing corrective actions as needed to reduce/eliminate variances.
- Actively drive productivity, quality, inventory control, and safety performance throughout the customer's organization.
- Maintain a daily inventory dashboard report to review supply-chain timing and projected inventory consumption to identify inventory gaps and constraints.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Valid state-issued driver's license (Required)
- 1-year B2B Sales and/or Operations experience (Preferred)
What We Offer:
R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $25.00/hour, DOE, and a quarterly sales incentive plan. This full-time position is eligible to participate in the Company's benefit plans, including paid time off, major medical, dental, vision, company-paid short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, various supplemental benefit plans, and Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
