Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Mailmyseafood. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our culinary strategy, ensuring the highest quality of food products and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive culinary strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage food costs, labor, and inventory, ensuring profitability and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies, ensuring consistency and excellence in our food products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary best practices, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our team members.
  • Develop and implement menu engineering strategies to drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance our company's reputation.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary operations, including menu planning, food costing, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Food Safety Certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
