Key Responsibilities
  • Benefit Verification and Prior Authorization: Assist patients and healthcare providers with benefit verifications, prior authorizations, and medical necessity processes.
  • Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Order Management and Tracking: Enter orders, change orders, and track shipments to complete customer transactions.
  • Patient Assistance and Reimbursement: Process patient assistance applications, administer comprehensive searches for alternate reimbursement resources, and assist with enrollment assistance for qualified patients.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, obtain complete patient enrollment and insurance information, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma and 4 years' experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service and Call Center Experience: Previous experience in customer service and/or call center environments.
  • Patient Assistance and Reimbursement Experience: Experience in patient assistance, reimbursement, and/or pharmacy benefit management.
  • Medical Billing and Coding Experience: Experience in medical billing and coding.
