Business Process Owner Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Owner Lead to join our team at USAA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of complex business processes, ensuring alignment with our overall experience strategy and vision.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and drive business process result program plans that align with customer, business deliverable, and enterprise strategy.
- Apply and maintain expert knowledge of the business, leading ongoing alignment and development of business deliverable processes and capabilities with business needs.
- Guide and influence process re-engineering and technology implementation to enable process redesign and innovation.
- Lead the overall management of process performance by developing control limits, monitoring key performance indicators, and informing partners of any deficiencies, improvements, operational risks, issues, etc.
- Identify, own, implement, enhance, and align controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks as it pertains to owned processes.
- Collect and consolidate demand and find opportunities by business portfolio, vertically within the business unit, and/or horizontally across the enterprise.
- Ensure alignment between internal partners and customers across all business process projects and services using proactive communication and engagement strategies.
- Use data and analytics to deliver insight into customer and business process performance and share standard methodologies with the overall team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate business processes to lead continuous process improvement efforts.
- Lead solution development, including business case/benefits substantiation, and drive business requirements for process improvement initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance support for the team and applicable business partners.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8 years of business process execution/knowledge/experience, consulting, and/or process engineering/optimization.
- Experience in successfully applying quality management, process improvement, and problem-solving tools and methodologies.
- Extensive experience in the application of process management standards and policies, and comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations and risk management practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean, Business Process Management, or similar methodology.
- Demonstrated experience with applying various systems to collect and analyze data.
- Broad financial industry experience.
- 5+ years of Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program and effective challenge experience.
- Regulatory Applicability experience.
- Process management and control knowledge.
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.
