Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accounts payable, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter data for 400-500 invoices per week
  • Code invoices to the appropriate GL account, department, and location
  • Assist with managing multiple accounts payable email inboxes
  • Route invoices to the appropriate personnel
  • Assess use tax on invoices
  • Process all payments associated with the weekly AP check run and handle vendor payment status inquiries
  • Verify vendor statements
  • Create new vendor accounts and complete credit applications as needed
  • Maintain vendor certificates of insurance and contact vendors with expiring certificates
  • Serve as a backup for the Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping experience
  • Preferred: Knowledge of using a Chart of Accounts
  • Preferred: Experience with NetSuite
  • Preferred: Associates, Technical Degree, or college background in Accounting
