At SmithGroup JJR, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications systems.
  • Perform analysis and documentation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for complex electrical power distribution and lighting systems.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.
  • Contribute to SmithGroup JJR's sustainable design initiatives by applying innovative electrical design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power distribution and lighting systems.
  • LEED AP and Engineering-in-Training certification preferred, with a commitment to obtaining PE license.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, as well as Microsoft Office.
