Electrical Engineer for Submarine Systems Design

Job Summary

Serco North America is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of the COLUMBIA class Integrated Power System. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and development of the CLB IPS electrical system, including the generation and distribution of all electrical power, and the controlling systems for all electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of the CLB IPS electrical system
  • Responsible for the generation and distribution of all electrical power
  • Controlling systems for all electrical components
  • Provide support to our Compatibility test Facility in Philadelphia, PA

Requirements

  • Current or active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or other engineering degree or related field
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the design, maintenance, operation and issue resolution of complex electrical systems
  • Naval Nuclear Propulsion experience at a Prototype, Nuclear shipyard, or shipboard
  • Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
