About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at SmithGroup JJR. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for new and renovated buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical systems meet client needs and project requirements.
  • Develop and implement sustainable design initiatives to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our designs meet the latest standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a design or consulting firm.
  • LEED AP and Engineering-in-Training certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required.
