Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Meeting Manager to join our team at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel. This role is responsible for identifying and implementing profitable group execution, ensuring revenue expectations are met or exceeded, and contributing to a high-performance culture within the Convention Services Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Forecasting and Budget Management: Understand the importance of accurate monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Meeting Planner Evaluation and Satisfaction: Raise meeting planner evaluation scores by implementing effective methods to ensure exceeding satisfaction levels.
  • Room Rental Charge Optimization: Consistently participate in the re-booking of repeat business through long-term client relationships.
  • Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry-related organizations (NACE, MPI).
  • Sales Techniques and Negotiation: Possess thorough knowledge of sales techniques, including strong closing skills and negotiation abilities.
Requirements
  • Experience in Hospitality: Prior experience in the field of hospitality, with specific experience in catering sales.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi.
