We are seeking a Senior Distribution Project Coordinator to join our team at Future Telecom. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting project managers in the planning, execution and closure of projects.

About the Role
  • Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

In this role, you will assist project managers in managing all aspects of projects including scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality. You will also be responsible for assisting with client relationships and keeping company management informed of project status and issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Coordination: Assist project managers in managing the project in accordance with Primoris Policies and Procedures, ensuring effective business relationships are in place and trusted by all.
  2. Client Support: Assist project managers in ensuring that client expectations are met through effective communication, timely updates, and transparent reporting.
  3. Administrative Tasks: Assist project managers with administrative tasks such as contract administration, change order identification, submittal and approval, administration, establishing the system to carry out the contract including management of subcontractors.
  4. Risk Management: Assist project managers in developing and implementing effective risk management processes to mitigate potential threats to the project.
  5. Quality Assurance: Assist project managers in implementing EH&S and Quality programs appropriate for the project.
  6. Estimation and Proposal Development: Assist project managers in developing thorough estimates and proposals to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  7. Project Meetings: Assist project managers in facilitating effective project meetings (project kickoff, client alignment, status meeting, progress review, etc.).
  8. Performance Feedback: Assist project managers in providing meaningful performance related feedback/input to appropriate line management and project team members.
  9. Project Reporting: Assist project managers in accurately reporting project status for the project team, management, and client.
  10. Financial Management: Assist project managers in accurately reporting project financials to project accounting with adequate backup for management, internal and external accounting and/or SOX requirements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the utilities industry supporting Distribution projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications with MS office application proficiency including MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated skills in written communications; ability to compose basic as well as complex technical documents, formal letters, invoices.
