Job Summary

The Director of Development and Fundraising will play a critical role in securing philanthropic support for the College. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, securing revenue, and cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to achieve annual and long-term goals
  • Secure revenue through grants, individual donations, and corporate partnerships
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, alumni, and community leaders
  • Manage and oversee the development and implementation of the development budget
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Advancement and Foundation Board of Directors to build a strong development program
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, community relations, or a related field
  • 5-7 years' experience in community outreach, development, and senior fundraising role in higher education or nonprofit organization
  • Progressive management/supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of development software and MS Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in business related field
  • Professional Certifications in fundraising
  • 7-10 years of progressive management experience
  • Proficient with MS Office applications and CRMs
