Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Stanford Park Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:- Greets guests with a warm and sincere welcome, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
- Provides information to guests regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system.
- Codes electronic keys, issues room key folders, and verifies credit card authorizations.
- Handles cash, makes change, and balances assigned cash banks.
- Accepts and records vouchers, travelers checks, and other forms of payment.
- Promptly answers the front desk telephone and responds to guest inquiries.
- Inputs messages into the computer, retrieves messages, and communicates content to guests.
- Retrieves mail, small packages, and facsimiles for guests as requested.
- Assists guests at check-out, resolves issues, and ensures a positive experience.
- Fields guest complaints, conducts research, and develops effective solutions.
- Makes restaurant, transportation, and entertainment reservations, and arranges tours.
- Deposits guests' valuables in the hotel safe or safe deposit box.
- Summons bell staff assistance to escort guests to their rooms.
- Retrieves registration cards from files for each check-out.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior hospitality experience in a luxury environment preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
