ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately take and fulfill guest orders in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, ensuring a delightful experience that meets our high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist guests in the Market area by preparing and serving items such as coffee, pizza, and ice cream. Handle transactions for grab-and-go items and any other purchases made by guests.
  • Continuously monitor the Grab and Go areas to uphold quality and service standards.
  • Respond promptly to Room Service inquiries or assist guests at the Grab and Go counter, promoting daily specials and answering questions about menu items and food preparation. Document orders carefully, noting any dietary restrictions, and confirm details with callers to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect checks from the order taker and retrieve orders from the kitchen or Grab and Go area, ensuring that all items are complete and properly packaged.
  • Input orders into the micros system, clearly noting any special requests. Provide the food server with a copy of the check for delivery and secure the appropriate payment method.
  • Maintain necessary forms at the Cashier's Desk, including amenity requests and purchasing requisitions. Update the V.I.P. board on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with servers to manage trash pick-up requests and assist in retrieving items as needed.
  • Address guest concerns positively, working towards a satisfactory resolution.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized, and follow up with guests to ensure their satisfaction with food and service.
  • Support other departments as required.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Alongside the essential duties, this role may involve performing various supportive tasks as determined by management based on the hotel's specific needs.
