About the Role

The Inbound Telesales & Retention Representative plays a vital role in supporting IONOS customers through inbound calls, chats, and email inquiries. Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving customer issues via phone, email, and chat
  • Assisting potential customers with questions and recommending products or services based on their needs
  • Assisting customers with cancellation requests and making retention efforts to maintain their partnership
  • Demonstrating account management/billing proficiency, minor technical skills, and effective soft skills in resolving customer issues
  • Effectively managing self to meet departmental goals and resolve incoming workload efficiently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A great customer service attitude
  • The ability to speak and write clearly in English
  • The ability to field customer calls, chats, and emails regarding product sales, accounts, and service issues
  • The ability to efficiently process and document call information
  • Possesses basic computer and internet skills (Training will be provided on all 1&1 Ionos products and tools)
  • The ability to regularly report to work on time as scheduled
  • The ability to multitask
  • The willingness to learn new products and technologies
  • The ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in customer retention or sales, skills in shared hosting environments, knowledge of DNS protocols, and bi-lingual speaking and writing ability are highly valued.
