Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of loan application documents.
  • Photocopy and scan necessary documents into the Loan Operating System.
  • Shadow Loan Officers to gain insights into the pre-qualification process and accurate loan application techniques.
  • Update loan applications with any missing information such as lot numbers, addresses, and plan types.
  • Communicate effectively with borrowers and processing teams as directed by Loan Officers or Division Managers.
  • Support processors and closers in obtaining loan documents from clients and other necessary parties.
  • Participate in ongoing training through the Lennar Mortgage Training Course Catalogue to prepare for a Loan Officer role.
  • Complete testing for mortgage licensing and state-specific licensing as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive notes within the origination system to ensure clear communication regarding loan applications and statuses.
  • Occasionally assist with initial file setups, including ordering titles.
  • Engage in builder and realtor events to cultivate and maintain professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with Division Managers and Loan Officers on local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills are essential.
  • Prior banking experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities are required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Trilingual candidates, particularly in Hindu and Punjabi, are preferred.

Compensation Overview

The median base compensation for this position is estimated at $20.50/hour, subject to adjustments based on qualifications, geographic location, and operational factors. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular in-person attendance at company sites and offices. Candidates must be able to work extended hours in confined spaces, operate a motor vehicle, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment over 50 pounds.
