About the Role

Foothills Bank is seeking a highly skilled Teller/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chester, Montana. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, including deposit and customer service solutions, new accounts responsibilities, and teller duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all paying and receiving functions as a teller, including assisting customers with transactions, verifying endorsements, and balancing cash.
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions, as well as adhere to branch, division, and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Process and record night deposit transactions, resolve errors and problems, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collect accurate information to complete CTRs and MIL, and adhere to the Cash Difference and Limit Policy.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, notify supervisors of procedural or equipment issues, and maintain a positive attitude and great customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Banking and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, understand and follow written and oral instructions, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
