Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an NP, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, to identify health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery and adherence to established quality indicators.
  • Participate in the coordination of patient care, including reviewing medical records, ordering diagnostic studies, and establishing effective communication with other healthcare providers.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in orthopedic care, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an orthopedic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Kaiser Permanente facility.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
