Financial Operations Analyst

As a key player in the financial operations, you will be tasked with the precise reporting and management of cash flows associated with various financial transactions. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all payments are executed promptly and with the necessary approvals, while also supporting banking initiatives such as cash positioning, forecasting, and comprehensive bank reporting.

You will oversee treasury functions, including but not limited to, purchase card management, online expense reporting, banking access, and merchant services.

Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately manage and account for the cash inflow and outflow related to various financial transactions (including wires, ACH, checks, and credit card transactions).
  • Ensure timely payment processing with appropriate approvals.
  • Conduct daily cash concentration and assess the net cash position.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Treasury Manager on daily banking operations, including cash management and check processing.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to standardize processes that facilitate efficient cash flow with robust financial controls.
  • Maintain and order merchant processing numbers for credit card transactions.
  • Manage P-Card records, including user access, approvers, and spending limits.
  • Oversee bank account access for authorized users.
  • Audit and maintain accurate records of check signers.
  • Order checks and deposit slips for various locations as needed.
  • Process refunds via credit card, check, or ACH as required.
  • Support liquidity management, forecasting, and debt management strategies.
  • Assist the Controllership function with cash, debt, and related account reconciliations.
  • Investigate escalated payment issues and resolve customer concerns strategically.
  • Assist in the implementation of new initiatives and technologies in cash management and forecasting.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position does not involve supervising employees.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in treasury, commercial banking, or accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with M&A integration.
