Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Perishable Department Associate to join our team at Food Lion. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality in our perishable department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the perishable department, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and prepare merchandise for sale, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
  • Ensure that all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed to meet company standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
