Job Overview

The Medical Laboratory Scientist II plays a vital role in ensuring accurate test results in a laboratory setting.

Estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Loading specimens onto various instruments and analyzing results to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment to quality control standards.
  • Troubleshooting instrumentation and facilitating vendor assistance when necessary.
  • Training new staff and supervising laboratory technicians.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification.
  • Two years of experience working in a laboratory setting preferred.
