About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Specialist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will be responsible for preparing and performing radiological imaging procedures in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform radiological imaging procedures using knowledge of human anatomy and medical imaging standards.
  • Select appropriate scanning protocols and imaging parameters based on patient requirements.
  • Interview patients to understand risk factors that may warrant a more in-depth examination for safety.
  • Upload imaging results into Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and record information into Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system.
  • Facilitate office visits and gather patient information as needed.
  • Perform a range of clinical tasks to support a cross-functional clinical team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Science.
  • Registration as Radiological Technologist from American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Good understanding of human anatomy - can be established through education or experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting radiology orders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using point-of-care-testing platforms.
  • Experience working with a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Experience working in a clinical practice.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification.
  • Experience working with EPIC.

Work Details

Standard Hours Per Week: 40.00. Work Assignment Type: Onsite. Work Schedule: Night Job. Location of Job: PARD RAD. Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.
