Position Overview:

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is integral in addressing clients' service requirements and overseeing account modifications. This role encompasses specific service and marketing duties, ensuring the provision of outstanding service while achieving sales objectives in line with the agency's quality benchmarks. The primary emphasis is on assisting the sales team in attracting new clients and maintaining relationships with current ones.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team in pinpointing new business prospects, evaluating client needs, and strategizing renewal discussions with sales representatives.
  • Oversee the renewal process and collaborate with sales representatives to guarantee timely renewals.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives, negotiate pricing, and assess quotes for precision and competitiveness.
  • Draft proposals and finalize presentations in partnership with the sales team.
  • Issue insurance coverage, accurately preparing binders, certificates, and policies.
  • Examine policies and contracts to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify potential loss exposures and recommend appropriate coverages in consultation with sales representatives.
  • Work alongside colleagues to provide exceptional client service and support sales representatives as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Commercial insurance or a related field.
  • Active State of Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with EPIC is advantageous.
