About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Agent to join our team at AnswerNet. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients and families, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with scheduling and rescheduling in-office or telehealth consultations with providers
  • Document all call activity accurately in the NextGen scheduling system with complete and thorough notes
  • Identify patient needs, clarify information, and provide accurate answers to patient issues or concerns
  • Attend team daily in-office meetings via Zoom and customer training sessions in the office
  • Log into UKG payroll system, Contact Center tools, and websites as required
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in listening
  • High level of compassion for callers/patients and ability to de-escalate distressed callers
  • Good interpersonal skills to enable easy conversation flow with customers
  • Ability to multitask and manage time properly and effectively
  • Flexibility in role/job function changes and shifts to meet customer requests and demands

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • A minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • English as a primary language and bilingual Spanish
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a call center/customer service, medical scheduling environment
