Human Resources Specialist

Air Transport Services Group is seeking a skilled HR Recruiter to support full life cycle recruiting efforts for the company and its subsidiaries. This role involves monitoring job boards and social media, sourcing qualified candidates, and developing creative recruiting strategies to find and interact with the talent pool. The successful candidate will communicate ATSG values to prospective candidates and current employees, support new hire information processing and onboarding presentations, and collaborate with management to provide customer service and problem-solving support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire top talent for various roles within the company
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with management to provide customer service and support
  • Communicate ATSG values and company culture to prospective candidates and current employees

Requirements:

  • 1-year of Human Resources and/or Recruiting experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to initiate conversation with candidates and sell the value proposition of ATSG
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products and email applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or applicable combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the aviation industry, preferably in recruiting
  • Experience using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms for recruiting purposes
  • Experience working in an Applicant Track System, specifically UKG
